At Abington Friends School, I teach all levels of Upper School English, and I am the advisor to The Blue and White, AFS’s student-edited newspaper.

At the Baldwin School, I taught 11th grade English, Journalism, and Contemporary Literature. I was the advisor to The Hourglass, Baldwin’s award-winning student-edited newspaper.

At Kehillah Jewish High School, I taught American literature, Jewish literature, and creative writing.

At the University of California, Berkeley, I taught several freshman composition courses on themes including documentary poetry, Bay Area writing, and poetry and pop music. I also taught creative writing and a special course funded by the Art of Writing program on collaboration. At Berkeley, I also served as a mentor in the Berkeley Connect program.
